HFCC is a member of the North American Reggio Emilia Alliance (NAREA) supporting active knowledge-share and cross-training with other Reggio Emilia inspired schools.

Approved Site of the California Mentor Teacher Program

Approved by the state of California, HFCC hosts a student teaching program in conjunction with San Mateo regional junior colleges. Early Childhood Education (ECE) students are required to obtain working classroom teaching hours. HFCC mentors these students in a student teacher program to gain hands-on experience and college credits for graduation.
